What have i been wearing??

Over the last two days i realised i wore a few of my favourite easy work outfits and decided that i should share them all with you.

I love working at a place with no uniform and where i can express my individuality.
They do not mind that i dress a bit 50's most days or that i have tattoos.

The fact i work in IT and hide behind a desk probably helps with that..

Anyway, i wear a lot of dresses and skirts and i wanted to share two of my staples.
(one you may have seen before in a different colour way)

So lets go..

Outfit 1

(sorry i know this is not the best picture)

The breakdown is:
Dress: ASOS CURVE Exclusive Jersey Midi Dress with 3/4 Sleeves - Black
Tights: Basic Opaque Black Stockings and Garter
Necklace: Morphologica Geek Necklace

This dress is so lovely on. I got it in a Size18 and it fits so nicely. To be honest it might be a little loose.
The material is super stretchy and clings in just the right way.
The neckline is flattering and the sleeves just the right 3/4 length.

On the day i also wore my new favourite lip colour..

Lime Crime Velvetines - Red Velvet

All i can say is OHHH MY GOD !!

It goes on like a lip gloss and then turns into the loveliest matte lip colour. Solid colour that lasted for hours

Outfit 2

The breakdown is:
Cardigan: Plain Black Cardigan - Target
Necklace: Morphologica Geek Necklace
Earrings: Debstar Designs Bows and Razors

What can i say about this dress..... So so comfortable and suits me to a tee.
Might be why i own it in three colour ways.

I got it in a 20 as it is quite firm fabric and i was not sure how the bust would fit.
The bust fits well but it is a little loose at the waist which is why i wear it with a belt, to being it in to fit my waist properly.

The cut is lovely and the full skirt so flattering. Nice cap sleeves with a little bit of a puff.
The print is light and summery

I am totally in love with my new earrings from Debstar Designs.
They are cute and a bit dangerous all in one.
Hopefully a bit like me haha.

Also of course my trusty and ever favourite Geek necklace

What are some of your everyday favourite items??

52 Lists - Style Icons

My sisters will agree with me, we are a family of list makers..

From detailed excel spreadsheets for event planning to serious to do lists
it is just what we do

So with that in mind, i am sure there is no shock when i tell you i have decided to join in the fun with the amazing Pip at Meet Me at Mikes 52 lists project.

My gorgeous sister Jess from a heart full of frost takes part every week and it looked like fun.

Creating a list of my style icons is quite tricky..

We all know i do have a very mixed but unique style, the best way i can think to describe it is GgRG...

That stands for a lot Girly, a little dash of goth, a whole lot of Rockabilly and Geek

What do you think does that fit?

So here is my list..

It is a mixed list and there are so many other people that should be on there but i ran out of space. I am not sure how much my list really should be icons as a mix of eras.

Either way it was a lot of fun to put together

Who are your style icons?
