Whats in the Box - LootAnime November Crate 2015

I think it is not surprise to anyone who follows me that I love a Loot Crate and subscription boxes.

It would also be no surprise that I love anime and Manga

So when the prospect of BOTH together showed up.....

I JUST HAD TO...

Now when the November crate arrived in early December 2015. I couldn't wait and had to dive in right away. I have since received the December crate this week and recorded a Unboxing video on youtube.

But even though it is late I thought I would share what was in the November crate..

The theme was Brawl..

So without further ado... this is what was inside..

The inside of the box was awesome with a huge image of Ironclad from Sword Art Online.

Naruto Shippuden Akatsuki Tee by Ripple Junction

A very nice t-shirt from  great series. it is a little busy for my liking but is making a great gym shirt. The fit was pretty spot on and it was good quality and 100% cotton.

Exclusive Attack on Titan Glass Mug by Surreal Entertainment

Fighting titans is thirsty work and goodness knows you need large amounts of coffee to keep awake. The mag is pretty cool, I think it would have looked better on a clear glass but that is my preference. It felt nice in had and would be great for those Attack on Titan binge watches..

Mystery Mini Anime Blind Box by Funko

I got Sebastian from Black Butler. He is so damn kawaii..

Attack on Titan Bandages by Crowded Coop

A bit odd but I guess even the Survey corps need a sticky plaster every now and then..

Seven Deadly Sins Vol 1 by Kodansha Comics

A manga is always a win for me and this series is one I am just getting into so I was very happy

Exclusive Founders Phone charm by Loot anime Labs.

This was very cute and took place of the regular pin in normal loot crates.

And finally a awesome big poster, which also had the list of everything in the crate on the other side.

Overall I really love the anime crate..
Favourite item would have been the Seven Deadly Sins Manga Book
There was not one item I didn't recognise the anime or manga it was from which was pretty cool...
I am such an Otaku

Now if you want to see what I thought of the December Crate...
Pop over to my YouTube channel.. the video is going up today

and if you just can't wait and want in on the looty goodness..go visit Lootcrate

What was the item you would have wanted most?

Unboxing and Review - Axent Wear Cat Ear Headphones.

So over a year and a half ago I backed a project on Indiegogo for these cool but odd looking headphones.

They were cute and had Cats Ears..... of course I had to get some.

image from here

It was all just concept art at that point but they looked awesome.

After a few delays and set backs they were finally shipped out to us a year later that first told.

I was super excited when I received mine, I just had to share it with you.
Be warned, this post is very image heavy. I just had to take tons of pictures.

As expected I ordered the red, how could I not..

The box was just lovely, I am always a sucker for pretty packaging.

The cover art is as good as expected with artwork by the designer of Axent wear Yuumei

The headphones came in a Protective Hard case for you to store them after, and came with a postcard and the usual instruction booklet.

and now the headphones themselves in their case

In the box they came with the hard case, a detachable gaming mic, 4 foot detachable 3.5mm headphone cable (with inline controls) and a USB recharging cable.

they have the ability to play sounds as normal for you through the ear cups but you can also share what you are listening to through the speakers in the cats ears... pretty cool

More importantly how do they look and are they comfy.....

the answer..... KAWAII!!

I love them, they are super cute and they are comfy.

The accent lights in speakers in the ears and the red bands on the ear cups light up and are controlled separately to the sound from the external ear speakers.

With the lights on, the red is more an orange which is a little disappointing. it still looks really cool though so I am still happy.

the ear cups have a 20Hz-20KHz frequency response, 32 Ohm impedance and 40mm drivers. The sound is good, I listen to music a lot and my tastes are very varied. I have tried these with music ranging from Classical to Metal and have been happy with the sound. I have also used them gaming on multiple occasions and had the same result.

The overall shape is just awesome, they are also not too heavy. The ears are fully articulate so you can wear them flat on your chest when you have them around your neck

They have a very comfortable over ear padding that was cushioned to help with noise reduction and fit. I have worn them for extended periods and they were not too tight or squishy on my ears.

The controls for the external speakers including volume are on one cup, with a separate control for the accent lights. The other cup has the plug holes for the Audio cable, the USB for recharging and the boom mic.

With a closer look at the cats ears, they are well made and sturdy. The sound from them is pretty decent and what you would expect from small speakers. The car ear speaker audio is 200Hz - 18KHz frequency response with 32mm drivers.

so my overall thoughts, I am super happy I got a pair right away from the Indiegogo backer rewards. it was worth the year and a half wait.

The mix of practicality and total kawaii is just perfect.

They are now available to buy from Brookstone for $149.00 USD.
which for over-ear headphones that can be used as a gaming headset is quite affordable

They come in Red, Blue, Green and Purple.
I love my red but now i kinda want all the other colours as well just cause.....

so what do you think, would you rock some Cats Ear headphones?

Whats in the Box - Loot Crate SDCC Limited Edition Creature Crate 2015

Every year San Diego Comic Con rolls around and without fail this is me

You see all the posts all over Instagram and Twitter.. the panels... the loot....
Sigh.. I will get there one day.

This year I was at least able to have a little of SDCC at home in little old Sydney.

Loot Crate had a limited edition crate on offer from SDCC, The 'Creature' Crate and I was lucky to manage to snap one up.

I was excited to see what was inside and how it compared to a regular Loot Crate.

I have to say I was not disappointed

It came with a Certificate of Authenticity that it was the Exclusive and Only available at the Loot Crate Booth at SDCC and only 10,000 were made.

The total value of the crate was $100 usd

Lets see what was inside..

Godzilla T-Shirt (Bioworld)

I am a big fan of Godzilla in general and love the most recent movie. So this shirt is so cool. I just love the print. I regularly change up the size of the shirt option in the crates so both my man and i get a go at a shirt. This one was in his size but I am totally keeping it.

Weyland - Yutani Luggage Tag (Quantum Mechanix)

I totally love these movies and just love this tag so much. I do have to say I very much don't want to go anywhere Weyland - Yutani Corp can take me. No Acid spewing aliens for me.... thanks.

Ghostbusters QPOP (Quantum Mechanix)

This was a 1 in 4 chance of which one you would get.. I got

Ray

He is adorable.... and even has a little stay puff marshmallow man

I so want all the others now too !!

Jurassic World Keychain (Chronic Collectables)

All i can say is AWESOME... it is heavy and looks awesome in real life. Such a clever girl ;)

Ghostbusters Marshmallow Man (TITAN Merchandice)

more Ghostbusters cuteness.. seriously I am not sure this could get any more cute.

Isn't he just so so damn adorable... look at his little angry Rawr face.

Oh and did I mention he GLOWS!!

After me everyone....Nawwwwwwwww so cute.

DC Comics Collectable Creature Cards (Cryptozoic Entertainment)

These are just beautiful, the pictures really do not do them justice.

Swamp Thing

ManBat

Killer Croc

and finally The 2015 SDCC Loot Crate Souvenir Pin

So i don;t think i need to say that the crate was so damn cool. I pretty much loved every item and I am so glad I was able to get one.

While not making up for not going to SDCC, it does help just a little ;)

What do you think of the loot?
